Engagement rings with a sapphire — a colour that made history
Ever since Prince Charles proposed to Diana with a sapphire ring (the same one Princess Kate wears today), an engagement ring with a sapphire has been synonymous with grand-style engagements. The deep blue of a natural sapphire surrounded by diamonds is a combination that stands out from afar — and contrasts beautifully with both white and yellow gold.
Sapphire is also an exceptionally practical stone for everyday wear: on the Mohs hardness scale it is second only to diamond, so it resists scratches like no other coloured stone. We craft our sapphire rings in 333 and 585 gold, with a certificate of authenticity for the stones.

Is a sapphire always blue?
No — sapphires also come in shades of pink, yellow and green. Blue, however, is the most classic and most often chosen for engagement rings.
