A good chain is the foundation: it carries a pendant, and often the whole look. A short guide to the weaves: armadillo i Ankier are the most durable, universal weaves — perfect for pendants. Singapore twists in a spiral and catches the light spectacularly. The snake weave creates a smooth, flexible “rope” — it looks beautiful solo. Lengths: 42–45 cm for women (at the collarbone), 50–60 cm for men and longer styles.

Which chain weave is the most durable?
Curb and anchor — their links are solid and wide, so they best withstand daily wear and the weight of a pendant. Wear delicate decorative weaves (snake, singapore) rather solo and take them off for the night.
What chain length is universal?
45 cm for women and 50–55 cm for men is a safe standard. If the chain is to carry a pendant, choose one 2–3 cm longer than you usually wear — a pendant visually “shortens” it.
