Why does silver tarnish and how to prevent it?
Silver reacts with sulphur present in the air, cosmetics and sweat — hence the dark tarnish. Rhodium-plated earrings are resistant to it; the others just need to be stored in a sealed pouch and wiped regularly with a silver cloth, and they will return to full shine.
